CAPITAL SDA congregation came as a Sabbath Branch in 2002 under City SDA in Matero mission Distict. Formerly it started as cell zone in Kanyama with the Zone Leader deacon Bwalya Kampamba. When the membership grew up 40, the zone leadership made a proposal to the church board so that it becomes a branch,city church by it's location their members were coming in places like N'gombe, Matero and other places. And october 2002 the Board recommended the proposal from the Branch and Later the Business meeting up held the recommendation from the Board. Now the brach was opened , it had only one br and six sister ( Deacon Bwalya and Sister Kubaya's family ). In 2003, the Branc become a Company in otober and 2005 under the leadership of Elder kubaya ,Capital attained a church status with the membership of 45. Our first Administration was ELDER MFULA. Today the church has got the membership of 125.
